It was jointly edited with Dr. Helmut Reifeld I have contributed the Introduction for the book besides editing the selection of the papers presented at a Workshop on ‘The Political Role of Popular Islam’ (Sufism) organized by Konard Adenauer Foundation (Konard – Adenauer – Stiftung) at Gajner Palace, Bikaner in Oct. 2003.
